Health & Well-Being

There is now a growing acceptance in the medical world that our state of mind profoundly influences our state of health.  It is widely acknowledged that stress and anxiety have a negative impact on our health and general well-being, and in fact many health conditions today are now recognised as being caused or exacerbated by stress or anxiety.

In helping clients overcome unhelpful or negative patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, Cognitive Hypnotherapy aids relaxation, positive thinking, and general well-being. In this way, it helps to relieve or eliminate a wide variety of symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy also works extremely well for weight loss, by re-establishing healthier relationships with food and drink, and as well as effectively overcoming addictive habits like alcohol and drug consumption.

Specialised treatment sessions can also help clients with physical ailments, where gentle hypnosis and EFT (tapping on acupuncture points on the body) are used to help the healing process, boost the immune system and improve overall health and feelings of well-being.

Hypnotherapy is now accepted as a form of treatment for Stress and Anxiety, Smoking Cessation, Weight Loss, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Panic Attacks and Phobias.

The British Medical Association has accepted Hypnotherapy as a form of medical treatment since 1955.
